I think the fact that so many people are following Donald Trump shows that so many people don’t understand our Constitution, no matter how much they say they that they do. It’s one thing to refuse to allow refugees in the country, no matter where they’re are from, but it’s another to refuse certain ones because of their religious beliefs. Isn’t that why our founders fled England? What’s worse is that this would also apply to Muslim Americans returning from locations from overseas, but service members, he would have to be very diligent about them (I see a loophole there).
Maybe it’s worse than just not knowing or understanding the Constitution. Maybe we have gotten so sick as a society, that we’re digressing back to the Roman and Greek times where people were savagely murdered in front of an applauding and cheering audience. Its one thing to be scared: we have seen some horrific things done to us, but it’s a much different thing to be in that audience cheering for the bloodletting to begin.
With that, let’s look at exactly what he said:

Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on. According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population. Most recently, a poll from the Center for Security Policy released data showing “25% of those polled agreed that violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as a part of the global jihad” and 51% of those polled, “agreed that Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to Shariah.” Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won’t convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women.
Mr. Trump stated, “Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine. Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life. As you can see, there really isn’t any ambiguity in his statement. He can’t say that was misinterpreted. Or that the media got it wrong. He did say that. Now, how is it constitutional to be denied entry into your own country if you are traveling overseas? Are they going to put all Americans that travel overseas on terror watch lists? Now, there are travel restrictions now, but there really aren’t any countries that we can’t travel to (the U.S. government details countries the Americans should not go to, but they really can’t stop Americans from going nor is there any consequence in the U.S. for going anyway. If you get into trouble there, you’re on your own!).

That all being said, please help me to understand why people listen to this man? How is it possible that he is leading in the polls on the Republican side? Even more interesting: Do you think he’s secretly working with the Clinton’s to get Hillary elected?
I think he’s demonstrating the reason WHY we need to get the money out of politics!
