handing_over_money400Do you want to learn some easy ways to make some extra money simply? OK, here it goes. Most of us, especially us girls, know what it is like to lose an earring. Most all of us have had a bracelet, chain or watch break, but what do you do with it? I have actually heard stories from people that they just threw it away. Like in the trash! Here is the problem with that. If that earring, chain, bracelet or any jewelry item is made out of gold silver or platinum, you just actually threw away money! While some people know that you can repair some jewelry pieces, what do you do with a single earring or a watch that’s water logged?

scrap_goldWhile I write about a lot of different topics, today is about self-promotion and I am going to be shameless about it! I have worked with Goldwiser for many years and I have seen many things come into my stores. From unusual, custom pieces to your everyday jewelry store items. It is amazing some of the things people will fashion out of gold, silver and platinum.

Costume jewelry isn’t always worthless even if it’s broken. Please do not throw it away before bringing it in. Some of the older costume jewelry pieces are made with some gold. So even if they may be broken, again, trashing them is not the best solution. Let me take a look at them and test them for you!

Old watches whether they are working or not can also be purchased. If they are not working, I can buy them in most cases, even if only for the parts. While they may not be worth that much, they are worth more than what the trash would give you for them!

Where do you find all of these things? You can look in your jewelry boxes, in your closets, in storage units, old purses or wallets and maybe even in those bathroom or kitchen drawers. Wherever you may have just stashed something that broke on you, is exactly where you want to look! Spring is coming soon, so get started on your cleaning and get paid to do it! This is just part 1! There’s more to come!

My Goldwiser is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm and I am located at 24910 Kuykendahl Rd., TX 77375. My goal is to show you how easy it can be to make that extra money that you can use for whatever you choose!
